We honor John E. Jacobs and are proud to have his name attached to our Legion post in Leland, North Carolina. John E. Jacobs was the first citizen from Leland to be Killed in Action in October of 1968, during the Vietnam War. We honor him by working and supporting the citizens and veterans of our community as well as Brunswick County. We do not own a meeting facility but meet every third Thursday at Blossoms Banquet Hall at the Magnolia Greens golf course. No building means no extra expenses from our membership or the community to support the facility, which means maximum return of donations goes directly back into the community. It is what John E. Jacobs would have wanted. We work to collaborate closely with other service providers in the area to help Veterans and others in need. We are here to help you.
